Wishing You a Sweet Easter Tea and Coffee by SweetlyScrappedArt

Wishing You a Sweet Easter Tea and Coffee by SweetlyScrappedArt

There are 8 of these pretty tags that measure just about 1 1/2 inches by 3 inches. They are hand stamped on the front with a design that reads "Wishing you a Sweet Easter." The design is of an oval and it has a scalloped design along the outside. There is a little egg towards the right of the design and it has little flowers, like daisies. The inking is done on tea and coffee stained paper made by me :) The inking is done with Staz-On in the shade of Timber Brown, which is my favorite :) They all come prestrung with this gorgeous matte satin style ribbon. The ribbon itself is vintage.

If you have any questions, simply send me a message.

Family Chipboard Premade Scrapbook Album by SweetlyScrappedArt

Family Chipboard Premade Scrapbook Album by SweetlyScrappedArt

Hi! What a cute little album to keep the photos of the ones we love the most :) This album is 6 x 6 height and width and is a scallop.

I absolutely love the cover. There is a little frame, and in the center (under the cover) there is a layered embellishment that reads "Our Happy Home." Then there are crocheted flowers that I made with gorgeous yarn, some handmade (by me) paper roses and a little fabric rosette done in pink too. There are little prima flowers, pink leaves that are inked on the edges & buttons.

When you open the album to the first set of pages you will see two pretty blue photo mats that have pretty corners and tops. On the left there is a handmade flower with a button center and it has gold swirls adorning it. Then at the bottom, in a glittery embellishment, it reads "Welcome to our home." There is a little journaling tag at the top. On the right above the photo mat there is a embellishment that reads "This is my family." There is also another handmade flower with button center and swirls adorning that one also.

On the next set of pages you will see two photo mats that measure 3 x 3. They have more of my crocheted flowers done in a pretty mauve color. On the left you will see an embellishment on the bottom left that reads "funniest family moments." On the right side, behind the photo mat is a pull out double sided tag. There is an embellishment that is popped off the tag, so it hangs over the photo mount, of a cute little house. There next to it you will see another crocheted flower and one of my tags hanging off the crocheted flower.

On the next set of pages, there are two heart photo mats. On the left, above the photo mat, there is an embellishment that reads "It's what really matters," and below that is a stamped image of an owl. After I stamped it, I matted it. There is another handmade flower and a button center. The ribbon that runs along the photo mat, won't effect your photo placemat. Your photo will slide behind that. On the right side, there is a layered, scalloped & inked embellishment that reads "forever, love, family" and then there is a tag that I made with the crown to the bottom right and above that is a banner that I stamped that reads "love."

When you turn the pages you will see another two photo mats. On the left you will see an yellow embellishment that reads... "Our house is clean enough to be healthy, and dirty enough to be happy." We can all relate to that :) lol. Then below that is a flower. The leaf turns. When you turn the leaf, it opens up the card. Inside the card is a blue plaid panel. You can journal or add a tiny photo if you have one. I put an embellishment on top of the card that is stamped, glittered & scalloped and reads "S.W.A.K." and has stamped the image of the envelope. On the right hand side, behind the photo mat is a double sided pull out tag. At the top of the tag, I stamped the words "LOVE YOU TONS."

And that's all folks :) The back is the same print as the front.

There's alot of layers, distressing, inking and little things to make this album sweet. All it's missing is your photos.

Thank you for looking :)
Emily

Valentine's Card Keeper 2 Page Layout Paper by SweetlyScrappedArt

Valentine's Card Keeper 2 Page Layout Paper by SweetlyScrappedArt

Hi :) What a cute way to store your child's Valentine's this year! I have two small children myself, and I couldn't think of a way to store their Valentine's. They were sitting in a drawer, to keep till they were older, but I found a better and cuter way :)

This is a two page layout. It measures 12 x 12 and features two little peekers looking over :) There are 4 photo mats on the first page. In the center of the page is an embellishment that I made that is hand stamped and glittered with s.w.a.k. What we all do to our Valentine's :) Then there is a scalloped circle photo mat at the bottom with a wavy journaling block. It is done with shimmery pink. There are silk rose petals with gold glitter trim and hand embossed layered flowers. The hearts and flowers have gold accents and the blue and white flowers have silver glittery swirls. Did you notice on the photo mats that there are ribbons with 3/4 inch hearts attached. The pink ones have a glittery gold edge. The little bear is peeking over the scalloped circle photo mount holding a heart :)

On the second page you will seethe envelope that is matted right to the page. It has a light pink organza ribbon tie. There are two photo mats at the bottom and two glittery hearts along with 3 dimensional handmade embellishments. The envelope has glittery polka dots and I punched the paper lace doily at the bottom of the envelope and the flap. There are also little silver glittery swirls on this page also. And if you look at the little bear, he is holding a valentine that reads "Be my Valentine." There is also organza ribbon along these photo mats on the second page as well.

Your photos will slide easily under all the embellishments that you see.

If you have any questions, please send me a message/convo me.

Thanks so much for looking :)
Emily

A way to spread glue which you already have....

Ok, I know first hand how hard it is sometimes to get the glue to spread out evenly. And if you don't do it fast enough, you have a bubble. And I really dislike bubbles in my paper, lol. So what you can do is, you can take those gift cards that are $0.00 balance now :) or those credit cards you get in the mail with the offers and you can use them to spread out the glue. Push the glue with the card (on top of the paper). And from what I heard the other day on the news, the credit companies are desperate for consumers now, since they dropped so many a while back, that  we should be getting alot of them in the mail soon. So, instead of tossing them, use them for spreading glue. I also use them to trace out the shape, or I keep them for when I make a greeting card that holds a gift card, to use that for dimension. I see how big it needs to be. etc. Just a thought ;)

Scraps, Scraps, Scraps.... What to do?!

I hate to throw away anything. I will always look at my scraps and  wonder what I can do with them. Unfortunately, my table is usually covered with a project that I am already working on, so I end up tossing them. However, now, I decided to put a little bag that is tied to the leg of my table, and in that bag, I keep all my paper scraps. So, instead of throwing away that piece of paper that I could get 5 - 10 punches out of, I will stick it into that little grocery bag. I am sure you can find something cuter to use, but that is what I had closest to me :) This little bag accumulates quite quickly too. lol. So now, when I have a little downtime, or when I am watching television, I will grab a few punches, my bag and sit and punch a bunch and keep them all in a sandwich baggie. I am really surprised how many punches I get and how often I tap into that little bag too. I didn't think that I would, but I do. It also saves time later too, when you need a little heart, or a circle, because they're already punched. You'll be surprised how much you're actually throwing away once you keep your scraps and start doing this. I am kicking myself in the butt for not doing it earlier :)

Want texture without using glitter?

Well, there are many ways that you can add texture. I personally like glitter and shimmer, but sometimes, you don't want anything shiny but you want texture. You can use sand. Sand is very cheap and you can even find it in colors. Also, you can even find the pretty colors in the dollar store.
